Royals fall on road in MWHSHL East play

The Selkirk Royals dropped a 6–1 road decision to the Glenlawn Lions in Manitoba Women’s High School Hockey League East Division action on Thursday, Dec. 11.

Kennedy Simpson scored Selkirk’s lone goal in the second period to briefly cut into the deficit.

The Royals remain in last place in the MWHSHL East standings with a 1–12–1 record through 14 games.

Selkirk returns to the ice Monday, Dec. 15 at 4 p.m. when they host River East, followed by a road game Wednesday, Dec. 17 at 3:15 p.m. in Lorette.
