Falcons finding footing through first weeks of CRJHL season

The Lundar Falcons enjoyed a week off from Capital Region Junior Hockey League action after splitting their previous two games — earning an overtime win over the North Winnipeg Satellites and falling in extra time to the Arborg Ice Dawgs.

Through six games, the Falcons hold a 0-3-0-2-1 record with two victories and are showing steady improvement each week. Dylan Care leads the team offensively with eight points (three goals, five assists).

Head coach Tyler Medeiros and his squad now prepare for back-to-back games this weekend, facing Arborg on Friday and North Winnipeg on Saturday.

• Friday, Oct. 24 — at Arborg Ice Dawgs, 8 p.m., Arborg & District Arena

• Saturday, Oct. 25 — vs. North Winnipeg Satellites, 7 p.m., Lundar Arena
