Provincial silver medal

Date:

A Grade 7 student at Fisher Branch Collegiate brought home a silver medal a few weeks ago after competing in the Manitoba High Schools Athletic Association’s track and field championships at the University of Manitoba.

Konnor McTavish competed at provincials for the first time and clearly showed his talent for discus.

“We are super proud of Konnor here at FBC. This was Konnor’s first year competing in discus and he picked it up pretty quickly,” said school principal Amanda Bouchard. “He competed at the Middle Years Track and Field Meet in Arborg on May 23rd, 20024, where he finished first. He built on his success at the provincials an won the silver medal.”
