Children enjoyed rides and winter fun on Shoal Lake during the Ernie Welburn Memorial Family Fishing Fun Day on March 14. The annual event, hosted by the Woodlands & District Wildlife Association, drew a record 228 participants who braved –12 C temperatures for a day of fishing and family activities on the ice.
