The Altona MCC Gift and Thrift Shop gave back to the community recently with all of the proceeds from sales Sept. 17 being donated to the Rhineland and Area Food Bank.
Long time volunteer Nettie Stoesz presented a cheque for over $2,300 to Ang Stoesz, who has been with the food bank since its inception in 1997.
