Rounding out I Love to Read month

Date:

It was a month of extra fun literacy learning in the Lord Selkirk School Division as February was I Love to Read Month. Leaders from all around our community came to Lord Selkirk schools and rounded up the month with reading circles for students. Pictured: A couple of Selkirk Steelers stopped by Ruth Hooker School. LSSD Trustee Jack Bogaski took a turn reading at Ruth Hooker School. Tom Ethans from Take Pride Winnipeg took two stops at Ruth Hooker School and Centennial School, teaching the joy of reading and the importance of helping our Earth by reducing, reusing and recycling litter.
