The Christmas Home Tour is returning to St. Laurent on Dec. 6, ready to welcome the community into the holiday spirit. From 3 to 6 p.m., six homes across the area will open their doors, light up their properties and share pieces of their family traditions with guests.

“We saw that Pineridge Hollow was inviting people to visit their decorated homes, so we figured why can’t we do it here?” said organizer Jacinthe Lambert. “People have absolutely loved it, and it’s been so much fun.”
Now entering its 10th year, Lambert said she is excited to see neighbours reconnect.
“Things will be back to what they used to be — visiting neighbours, meeting your community and feeling that warm feeling that comes with being with others,” she said. “When I was small, that’s what it was like. It’s more than seeing the decorations; it’s about visiting and getting into the Christmas spirit.”
Tickets are $15 per person, and guests will drive themselves to each of the six featured homes using the map provided at check-in. Tours depart every 30 minutes, with the last one leaving at 6 p.m. At every stop, hosts will share their family traditions and offer a small gift. Each time slot accommodates 14 people. Tickets will remain available until the day of the event as long as spaces remain. All proceeds support the St. Laurent Christmas Hamper Drive.
“So many people can’t afford things, especially during the holiday season,” Lambert said. “With everything being so expensive, it’s going to be tougher for families, and if we can help a little bit, that means a lot.”
After the tour, guests are invited to continue the celebration at the St. Laurent Métis Legion 250, which will offer a Christmas Home Tour Special — wings and a glass of beer or wine for $15.
“Come and join us for some holiday fun that makes you feel warm and happy inside,” Lambert said. “It’ll put you in the Christmas spirit — you’ll be wanting to decorate your home too.”
