The annual Pembina Valley Rendezvous and Trade Fair offered a celebration of everything connected to the trapping trade and pioneer era traditions. It took place on the grounds of the former Darlingford school, which now houses the local heritage museum, over the weekend of June 21 and 22.
It featured a variety of demonstrations, competitions, and other activities. Some of the feature events included the outdoor seminars on such skills as blacksmithing, flint knapping, and trapping and skinning.
