Elm Creek’s Schroeder earns PWHL third star

Date:

Elm Creek native Corinne Schroeder was named third star after leading Seattle Torrent to a 3-2 shootout win over the Toronto Sceptres. Schroeder stopped 27 of 29 shots through regulation and overtime and made four saves in the shootout for the Torrent’s first road victory. The game was tied late before Seattle prevailed in the shootout, with Hannah Bilka netting the winner.
