Sabres rebound with 3–2 win over St. Mary’s

The Sanford Sabres opened their Manitoba Women’s High School Hockey League West Division week with a 4–0 road loss to the Churchill Bulldogs on Tuesday, Nov. 18. Sanford bounced back the next day with a 3–2 win over St. Mary’s Academy. Halle Penner scored all three Sabres goals, including the winner in overtime. Mikalah Grant assisted on all three markers.

Sanford plays three times this week: Tuesday on the road at Shaftesbury, Wednesday at home against John Taylor, and Friday away at the GCC Gophers.
