Sea Bears’ Floyd to hold one-day youth camp in Arborg

Date:

On Saturday, July 20, kids ages 6 to 16 will have a unique opportunity to learn basketball from Arborg’s Braeden Floyd and the Winnipeg Sea Bears.

Floyd, a coaching operations intern with the Sea Bears and an assistant coach with The University of Winnipeg’s men’s basketball team, is holding an open camp broken into two age groups, 6 to 11 and 12 to 16.

The 6-11 age group will run from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. out of Arborg Recreational Centre, while the 12-16 age group will run from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Arborg Collegiate.

The camp registration fee costs $15 and includes a Winnipeg Sea Bears t-shirt and an entry into a draw to win two tickets to the July 20 Winnipeg Sea Bears home game.

Attendees need a basketball and water bottle to participate.
