Ready for Easter

Date:

An eager group of participants of all ages got to try their hand at the traditional Ukrainian Easter egg art of pysanka Sunday afternoon in Morden.

The class was led by Yevgeniya Tatarenko, a local Ukrainian folk artist and pysanka master. The eggs are decorated with intricate designs and symbolic patterns.

The process involves applying wax to the egg, dyeing it, and then removing the wax to reveal the pattern.
