Food Bank gets helping hand

Date:

Last December’s Annual Holiday Food Bank Fundraising Campaign at Safeway in Selkirk made a big impact in our community. They collected $21,450.22 from Safeway shoppers at check-out and have donated it to the Selkirk Food Bank. Funds raised by this initiative go to purchasing mostly perishable items like bread and milk for people in need in our community throughout the year.
