Students from William S. Patterson School, Ruth Hooker School and Mapleton School got to experience a school day hockey game on March 2. The game not only had the students cheering on their favourite Selkirk Steelers players, who played the Virden Oil Capitals, but saw them win 5-3. A big thank you to Aaron Hoium of Aaron’s No Frills for sponsoring the food for the hotdog lunch. Proceeds from the lunch were split between the Selkirk Food Bank and Our Daily Bread Soup Kitchen.
