Coffeehouse raises $30K

Founder Paige Procter presents a cheque for $30,653.91 to the CancerCare Manitoba Foundation on Oct. 28 following the 15th annual Coffeehouse to End Cancer.

The event, held in Grosse Isle on Sept. 5 and supported by local musicians, artists, volunteers and sponsors, raises funds to support cancer research and to improve comfort and care for Manitobans undergoing treatment.

This year’s total brings the Coffeehouse’s cumulative fundraising to $352,712.66 since the event began, reflecting strong ongoing community support for CancerCare services in the province.
