Interlake Players present comedic horror musical

The Interlake Players Travelling Musical Theatre Company sold out three performances of their latest production, The Guy Who Didn’t Like Musicals, held Sept. 25, 26 and 27 in Selkirk. Performed by local actors, the profanity-laced zombie horror comedy kept audiences laughing throughout. A three-piece band accompanied the cast as they sang their way through the story of a meteor strike that unleashes an alien contagion, causing people to sing and dance their way through life as though trapped in a musical. The theatre group raised $1,700, which will be donated to local arts organizations.
