Rams split three games in WFP Division action

The Stonewall Rams sit ninth in the Winnipeg Free Press Division with a 7–14 record in Winnipeg High School Hockey League play after a three-game week that ended with a road victory.

Stonewall opened the stretch with a 2–1 home loss to Kelvin on Feb. 3. Mason Bernier scored the Rams’ lone goal in the first period, but Kelvin replied with goals in the second and third to secure the win.

The Rams were then shut out 9–0 by Springfield at home on Feb. 4, as the visitors controlled play from the opening period.

Stonewall closed the week on a positive note Feb. 6 with a 5–4 overtime win on the road against Churchill. Alec Harrisko led the offence with a hat trick, including the overtime winner, while Bernier and Jacksyn Arbez also scored. Aaron Orsulak chipped in three assists as the Rams erased multiple deficits to earn the victory.

The Rams return home Feb. 11 to host CSLR at 4 p.m., before travelling to Sanford to face Oak Park on Feb. 13 for a 4:15 p.m. puck drop.
