Richardson supporting farming communities

Date:

Richardson International Limited representatives, Trever Warburton (Director of Operations) and Maegan White (Area Marketing Rep), presented a cheque for $25,000 to the Balmoral Recreation Centre’s Board of Directors (Krista Speer, Kaitlyn Peters, Alexie Mauthe, Blake Mauthe, Al Sookermany) during the Saturday Learn to Skate Program. The funds will support key upgrades at the facility, including the replacement of aging equipment and improvements to infrastructure. One critical upcoming project is the replacement of a key component of the ice plant, the condenser. These enhancements aim to ensure the Rec Centre continues to be a welcoming and functional space for all residents.

“We’re incredibly grateful to Richardson International for their generous support,” said Blake Mauthe, President of the Board of Directors at the Balmoral Rec Centre. “Having the cheque presented during one of the programs offered here, power skating, was a perfect reminder of how vital this facility is to our community. This donation will help us maintain and improve the Rec Centre so it can serve residents for years to come.”

The Balmoral Rec Centre serves as a gathering place for the community, hosting activities including Balmoral Rec Hockey, Powerskating, and public skating. “With Richardson International’s support, the Rec Centre will continue to provide opportunities for recreation, connection, and growth,” said Mauthe.

Every year, Richardson donates to support a variety of community projects and organizations across the country. These donations are used to fund community projects that enhance the quality of life in the communities in which Richardson operates.
