Fundraiser launched to support Carman family after sudden loss

Date:

The Carman community is rallying around a local family following the sudden death of 24-year-old Trevor Graham earlier this month.

A GoFundMe fundraiser has been launched to support Trevor’s mother, Katherine Wolfe, and her family as they face funeral expenses following his unexpected passing on Dec. 8.

“With heavy hearts we had to say goodbye to our son Trevor Graham,” Wolfe wrote. “He was only 24 years old. Trevor was so full of life.”

According to his family, Trevor loved playing video games, going fishing and spending time with his family and friends. His sudden death has left a deep void for those who knew and loved him.

“His sudden death leaves a hole in everyone’s heart,” Wolfe said.

Friends and community members have been sharing the fundraiser online, noting Wolfe’s longstanding role in the community through her many years of work at WeeCare Child Center, where she has supported countless families by caring for their children.

The family says they do not have the funds to cover funeral expenses and are seeking community support to help ease the financial burden during this difficult time. The fundraiser’s main goal is $6,000, which Wolfe said will cover most of the necessary costs.

“We are very close to our goal for what we need for the funeral expenses,” she said. “We thank everyone again for the donations so far, and the ones that continue to come in. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts.”

Donations can be made through GoFundMe at www.gofundme.com/f/trevor-graham-funeral. Community members who are unable to donate financially are encouraged to share the fundraiser to help spread the word.
