Ashern Hospital celebrates Canadian pride

Date:

Ashern is serving up Canadian pride, one tasty bite at a time.

The acute care team at Ashern Lakeshore General Hospital hosted its first-ever all-Canadian breakfast on Feb. 24. All ingredients for the delicious breakfast were Canadian-made, and staff showed their spirit by dressing up in red and white.

“The breakfast was well attended and received, and it’s also a great team-building event,” said Dawn Barrett, manager of health services. “This is our small way to support Canadian producers.”

Looking ahead, they hope to make it an annual event.
