Selkirk RCMP searching for armed robbery suspect

On Sept. 30, at 6:04 a.m., Selkirk RCMP responded to a report of an armed robbery by the riverbank of the Red River in East Selkirk, Man. 

When officers arrived on scene, they located two uninjured fishermen who explained a male suspect had stolen their vehicle while armed with a hatchet. 

Upon further investigation, RCMP have issued a warrant of arrest for 34-year-old Jorden Walker.

The victims and the suspect were not known to each other.

Walker is facing the following charges:

Armed robbery

Uttering death threats 

Dangerous operation of a motor vehicle
