Winkler lights up for the holidays

Date:

Bethel Heritage Park was packed Friday night as Winklerites came out to celebrate the annual community tree lighting ceremony, which included a petting zoo, carols let by local students, bonfires perfect for roasting marshmallows, the official flipping of the switch to light up the park, photos with Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus, and holiday crafts with volunteers from Winkler Arts and Culture.
