With temperatures dipping enough for outdoor rinks to take shape, Owen and Mason Kippen took to the ice for a game of hockey on Sunday while their sister, Kynsley, enjoyed a skate nearby.

The Elm Creek area saw daytime temperatures between –8 C and –14 C, with overnight lows expected to drop to –18 C.
