The music was blasting and people were dancing at Goodwin Lodge’s Halloween “Pub” crawl at the Teulon Personal Care Home on Oct. 29. Staff came together to serve spooky treats and drinks for residents and their families to enjoy.

“We wanted to do something fun and our creative juices were flowing, so we figured let’s do it,” said Crystal Bergeron, Goodwin Lodge recreation coordinator.
It was the first event of its kind for the care home, and Valerie Coburn, Goodwin Lodge acute recreation facilitator, said it was a huge success that will likely return.
Residents had the chance to visit each of the eight Halloween-themed tables while dressed in costumes for their in-house “pub” crawl. A variety of baked goods, and beverages were served, giving participants plenty of sweet treats and lasting memories.
“We’re always looking for something new to do,” Coburn said. “Words can’t even explain how amazing this turned out to be.
“It brought together, family and friends. I couldn’t have asked for a better day.”
