Gimli boy needs votes to advance in Jr. Ranger contest

Vote by June 19 to help Interlake boys advance in Jr. Ranger Contest

Six-year-old Atlas from Gimli made it to the group finals of the Jr. Ranger Competition. He needs to secure first place in his group to advanced to the competitions quarter finals where he will face off against other group finalists.

The online contest, open to nature-loving kids aged 4 to 12, offers a grand prize valued at US$40,000, including US$20,000, mentorship sessions with wildlife expert Jeff Corwin, and a feature in RangerRick magazine.

To stay in the running, Atlas must be named the winner of his group by June 26. Anyone with a Facebook account can vote once daily at www.jr-ranger.org/2025/atlas-1354

Bonus votes can also be cast by making a donation to the National Wildlife Federation through his voting page.
