Taking the plunge

Date:

About 30 brave souls turned out Saturday afternoon to take part in the annual Polar Plunge at Lake Minnewasta organized by the Law Enforcement Torch Run in support of Special Olympics Manitoba. Held again in conjunction with the annual Morden Winterfest, the event this year was estimated at press time to have raised upwards $17,000.
