Lundar School wraps up I Love to Read Month

Date:

Lundar School wrapped up their “I Love to Read Month” celebrations with visits from two local police officers and a Grade 4 reading-inspired field trip to visit their senior pen pals.

Principal Tracy Parkes said their entire month was filled with literary-focused events. “We are incredibly fortunate to have such a dedicated and imaginative group of educators who organized and led these activities,” she added. “Their creativity and commitment brought reading to life across our K–4 and 9–12 classrooms, with dress-up days, reading challenges, book swaps, and school-wide participation.”

This year’s I Love to Read Month committee members were, Breanna Malcolm, Halle Monkman, Leanne Dubowits, Chelsey Lowry, Hailey Milian and Ashley Monkman.
