Access Credit Union named one of Manitoba’s Top Employers for 12th year

Date:

Access Credit Union has once again been recognized as one of Manitoba’s Top Employers, marking the 12th consecutive year the organization has received the designation.

The recognition was announced March 10 by the editors and organizers of the Canada’s Top 100 Employers project. Access was also named among Canada’s best employers for recent graduates in The Career Directory 2026.

The annual Manitoba’s Top Employers competition highlights organizations that lead their industries in offering strong workplace environments and employee support programs.

Access Credit Union president and CEO Myrna Wiebe said the honour reflects the commitment of the credit union’s workforce.

“The dedication, support and teamwork demonstrated daily by our employees are what supports the success and continued growth of the credit union,” Wiebe said in a statement. “We’re proud of our employees’ dedication to providing exceptional service to our members and clients, and how well they represent Access both inside and outside the workplace.”

The credit union offers a range of employee benefits aimed at supporting staff development and well-being. These include paid training and continuing education opportunities, flexible work hours and locations, matched pension plans, competitive salaries, tuition subsidies and fully paid health and family coverage.

Access Credit Union also emphasizes community involvement and encourages employees to participate in volunteer and community initiatives.

Manitoba’s Top Employers is published annually by the editors of Canada’s Top 100 Employers and highlights organizations that offer progressive workplace policies and supportive work environments.

Access Credit Union is the largest credit union in Manitoba, with $14.1 billion in assets and more than 208,000 members served through branches across the province.
