Fisher Branch Chase the Ace gives away $178,800

Date:

Four hundred seventy people attended Fisher Branch’s weekly Chase the Ace game last Friday, hoping to win the grand prize.

Winnipeg resident Holly Cromarty walked away $178,800 richer after this week’s Chase the Ace draw.

Cromarty found the lucky Ace of Spades in the remaining eleven-card pile.

Fisher Branch Chase the Ace fundraises for twelve different non-profit organizations.

Each organization shares 35 per cent of the funds raised.

“It will be about $12,500 to each organization,” said Fisher Branch Chase the Ace Board Inc. President Karl Barret.

Since the ace was found, the Fisher Branch Chase the Ace Inc. have decided to take a brief break from the weekly draw.

“[We will] be starting back in the beginning of October,” said Barret

Be sure to watch Fisher Branch’s Chase the Ace Facebook page for any updates regarding the weekly draw.

Once the weekly game returns, Fisher Branch sells their Chase the Ace tickets every Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Fisher Branch Recreation Centre, with the live draw at 9:30 p.m. sharp.
