Fire safety fun

Date:

Gimli Fire and Rescue welcomed the community during its Fire Prevention Week open house on Oct. 4. Visitors enjoyed demonstrations of rescue equipment, including tools used in vehicle extractions, while firefighters ran hands-on training activities for kids and adults alike. Guests also toured the fire hall, enjoyed lunch and met Sparky the Fire Dog, who stopped by to spread fire safety awareness.
