Jets alumni to play exhibition game in Arborg March 8

Date:

Winnipeg Jets alumni players and friends will be taking on a number of rec hockey players in Arborg next month during an exhibition game that will help raise funds for the Arborg & District Arena upgrades.

Recreation director Tom Chwaliboga said the Arborg-Bifrost Parks and Recreation Commission is excited to see Jets alumni heading to town.

“There will be an opportunity for people to get autographs of Jets Alumni and other players who have played in the NHL,” said Chwaliboga.

There will be a number of items up for grabs. Some of the items include a 2023-24 Winnipeg Jets team autographed jersey, a Winnipeg Jets alumni jersey, press box tickets (8) to a Winnipeg Jets home game, loge tickets (4) to a Winnipeg Jets home game and sticks and pucks.

“This is sure to be a wonderful evening of hockey and a great way to support the community,” said Chwaliboga.

The exhibition game is set for Friday, March 8. Admission is $10 and 12 and under free.
