Late-season storm blankets region with up to 30 cm of snow

A fast-moving Alberta clipper swept across southern Manitoba April 7–8, dumping up to 30 centimetres of snow in parts of the Interlake region, including Peguis, Fisher Branch and Arborg and forcing widespread school closures as blowing snow and wind chill made conditions feel closer to –9 C.
