RM of Coldwell Christmas Toy Drive applications close Dec. 1

Date:

The RM of Coldwell wants to ensure every child in the municipality has a present under their tree on Christmas Day. Recreation Director Breanna Malcolm said it is important to the RM to support their families in any way possible.

“We understand it is a very financially stressful time of the year and we want the community to come together so all children can have the joy of opening a present on Christmas day.”

The municipality is in the fourth year of hosting the toy drive, which Malcolm has reported as being, “absolutely wonderful” each year and is grateful for the community’s support.

Coldwell residents with children of any age can contact Malcolm at rec.coldwell@mymts.net or 1-204-739-3459 by Monday, Dec. 1 with their child’s age and interests to request a gift this year. Monetary and toy donations are also being accepted at the RM office until Dec. 1.

“We want to accept as many donations and gift registrations as possible to make sure every child has a gift this holiday season,” Malcolm added.
