A visit with St. Nick

Date:

‘Tis the season

Altona’s Night of Lights on Nov. 24 included horse and sleigh rides, a wiener roast, and, of course, the lighting of the big tree at the Civic Centre. For the first time ever, the annual holiday celebration also included a fireworks display, which was a huge hit with the crowd. Later, free hot chocolate and cookies were offered to revelers of all ages as they listened to a round of Christmas music performed by local students.
