Frost-kissed trees

A mild winter day greeted Gimli on Friday, with sunshine and a slight south-southeast breeze as temperatures reached –2 C and dipped to –10 overnight. After fog rolled through the night before, trees across the community were left coated in delicate hoar frost, sparkling in the morning light.
