Date:

The Gimli District Auxiliary Fundraiser Fashion Show on April 30 was an outstanding success, entertaining a sellout crowd in Johnson Hall and raising $2,539.76 for local health-care services.

“It was a wonderful evening that exceeded our expectations,” said Evelyn Thompson, an auxiliary board member who organized the show.

Presented by Johnson’s Fashion and Footwear, the event featured several local models showcasing stylish spring fashions.

“Fun moments were had by all,” Thompson added.

Guests also enjoyed live music by Blair Didychuk, while floral arrangements donated and created by Susan Thompson decorated the venue. Other highlights of the evening included a 50/50 draw and prize raffle, with proceeds supporting the auxiliary.
