Representatives from Altona Soccer were at the community’s Tim Hortons last week to help out with Smile Cookie Week. Proceeds from the sale of every Smile Cookie sold went to support “The Beautiful Project” in Altona, which will see new soccer pitches built and existing ones redeveloped to meet the growing interest in the sport in the community. Final numbers for the success of the week were not available at press time. Meanwhile, the Morris Tim Hortons also hosted Smile Cookie Week, with proceeds there going towards a new picnic shelter in Willow Park.
