There were drummers, dancers, food and fun for all at this year’s Holiday Alley.
Friday night was a blast with the traditional Pooch Parade following fancy shawl dancers, jingle dress dancers and the Binesi Ikwéwag singers bringing out the big drum. There were also activities all up and down the downtown block of Manitoba Ave.
The fun didn’t stop all weekend with the soup cookoff, Easel Wars, Wishme Maker’s Market and more events continuing the fun.
The celebration of the season had a great send off when two straw sculptures were burned at the Selkirk Waterfront.
