Date:

Students in Ms. Wedel’s Grade 3/4 class at Mapleton School marked Earth Day on April 22 by heading outdoors to collect garbage from the ditches surrounding their school, demonstrating what it means to be responsible eco-citizens. “It’s important we pick up garbage to keep Mother Earth Clean,” one of the students, Lincoln, said. “We want to keep the earth healthy,” fellow student Levi added.
