In 2023, the Country Girls Market organizers Jennifer Good and Laura Issaak were pleased to have had a turnout of 500 attendees. Looking ahead to this year’s event, they are hoping for an even larger crowd of 1,000 visitors.

Good and Isaak are hoping to raise over $3,000 for Tails of Freedom.

The $3 admission fee will be donated to the rescue, the non-profit organization will also be accepting cash and pet food donations on-site.

Tails of Freedom Rescue is dedicated to providing shelter for animals in need, particularly cats and dogs. Once the rescued animals are nursed back to health, families have the opportunity to adopt them.

Tails of Freedom will be bringing ten adoptable cats to the market and interested attendees will have the opportunity to bring one home. Good and Isaak are determined to find all these furry friends a loving new family before the event concludes.

The upcoming Country Girls Market will showcase a diverse selection of goods from more than 75 vendors, with the majority of items being unique, handmade products.

Guests can look forward to discovering a variety of items such as baked goods, clothing products, woodworking pieces, home decor accents, plants and much more.

Good and Isaak are also thrilled to showcase the work of Jong Tattoo, a talented tattooist.

To obtain a tattoo, one must be at least 18 years old and present a form of photo identification.

Individuals interested in getting a tattoo will be charged an hourly rate.
