Free Balmoral Boo Bash Halloween party Oct. 26

Date:

Get ready to unleash your inner ghost, goblin, or superhero. The Balmoral Memorial Hall will transform into a spook-tacular wonderland for all young Halloween enthusiasts from 1-4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26. With costumes encouraged and plenty of treats in store, this free event promises an afternoon filled with laughter, creativity, and community spirit.

Craig Lamm, Balmoral Memorial Hall board member has an exciting afternoon planned with eerie dance parties, thrilling Halloween themed games, free food and more.

“There will be Tic Tac Toe, arts and crafts, a photo booth, music, dancing, face painting. All of this is free to everyone,” explained Lamm.

“Everything has been donated by a super group of community volunteers,” said Lamm.

The Balmoral Halloween Party will be serving up free hot dogs, cookies, cupcakes and candy, and special allergy-friendly goodies will also be available to partiers with dietary restrictions.

A party in this nature is a first for Lamm. He has previously supported other local holiday gatherings, but he saw the need for a Halloween party to be held in the community.

“I decided to reach out to the communities of Balmoral and Gunton for input, donations and support. The responses have been overwhelmingly positive and I hope to make this an annual event.”

Costume wearing at Saturday’s party is encouraged as there will be a costume contest with prizes for multiple categories along with a costume parade at 2:30 p.m. If you think you have the scariest, funniest, or maybe even the best superhero costume you could be taking home a prize.

If you are looking to attend Balmoral’s Halloween bash, Lamm said that they have enough treats and supplies for the first 150. So be sure to arrive early to avoid any disappointment.

Lamm sends out one big final thank you to the Balmoral Memorial Hall and the many community members who have shown their support for the party.
