Burger lovers had 12 different tasty creations to try at this year’s Burger Week in Morden-Winkler May 15–21. Reps from the Morden and Winkler chambers of commerce, which organized the competition, made the rounds last week to present the winning eateries with their awards. Winning the People’s Choice award was Charley B’s for its entry, “The Maverick.” Buttercup Café won Most Creative honours for their croissant smash burger. Moment in Thyme received the Best Tasting award for its “Pineapple Express” burger. And DominYon’s in Manitou got the nod for Best Burger Presentation for their new “Manitower” burger.
