Concours d’art Oratoire highlights local talent

Interlake School Division students earned top honours at the 40th annual Concours d’art oratoire, a French-speaking competition hosted by Canadian Parents for French at the Université de Saint-Boniface on May 2–3. In the Grade 3/4 Français category, École R.W. Bobby Bend School student Sebastian Noel won a bronze medal for his speech on La pollution.

In the Grade 9/10 Early Immersion category, Collège Stonewall Collegiate students Eli Uhres-Todd and Isla Gemmill won gold medals in the duo speech competition. CSC’s Shannon Bodnarus earned a silver medal in the Grade 11/12 Late Immersion category for her speech on L’énergie géothermique.
