Pattersons honoured with first Yard of the Week award

Date:

Carman/Dufferin Communities in Bloom has named Russell and Bernice Patterson of #8 Eagle Drive as the recipients of the season’s first Yard of the Week award.

The couple’s vibrant front yard features a stunning floral display and a long-standing pink colour theme that began with Bernice and a former neighbour.

Passionate about gardening and bird watching, the Pattersons have lived in Carman for 21 years and continue to inspire those around them.

Russell, 86, manages the gardens and still golfs occasionally, while Bernice, who turns 86 this month, shares her musical talents with local care homes.
