The Rural Municipality of Fisher will hold a public hearing next month on a proposed variance order that would allow for a subdivision on agricultural land.
Council has scheduled the hearing for Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2025, at 10 a.m. at the municipal office on 30 Tache St. in Fisher Branch.
The application, filed by Broad Valley Holding Co. Ltd., seeks to vary the required rear yard setback under the municipality’s zoning bylaw (1055/00). The property is located at SE 13-22-1W and is zoned agricultural (AG).
The variance would adjust the rear yard requirement in order to enable a subdivision of the parcel.
Council will hear written or verbal submissions from the applicant and any members of the public who wish to comment on the proposal. Supporting documents are available for review at the municipal office during regular business hours.
