The Stony Mountain Rockwood Fire Department will be hosting their annual Open House on Sun. Oct. 5 between 11:30 – 1:30pm. Be sure to stop by for free hotdogs and refreshments and check out the Public Ed trailer, watch an auto extraction demonstration and let the kids enjoy the bouncy room. Tickets will be available for the ‘Through the Flames of Time’ Firefighter’s Ball that will be held Nov. 1. Funds raised will be going towards purchasing new firefighting HEN nozzle technology.
