Food Bank receives holiday boost

Date:

The Stonewall Food Bank is seeing increased demand this Christmas season, a time when requests for support typically rise as families face higher costs and holiday pressures. Rockwood Motor Inn owners Jason Manning and Monica Rodrigue helped bolster the cause this week, presenting a $500 donation to food bank representative Karen Chaboyer. Staff say contributions like this are essential in December, when the need for hampers and emergency food assistance is at its peak.
