Welcome to Willow Grove Orchard, where the magic of Christmas comes alive!
John and Margaret Guenther are welcoming friends and family to come celebrate a Family Christmas Experience in the county at their farm from 4 – 9 p.m. on Nov. 17, 18 and 19.
Margaret Guenther believes that Christmas is all about spending quality time with loved ones making memories and is one of Margaret’s favourite times of the year.
The Guenthers opened their farm up last year and celebrated the season with approximately 150 people.
“Christmas is such a short time so this helps me enjoy the season a little longer,” said Margaret. “My entire family comes to help with the set up. It’s such a magical time.”
This past Saturday, Guenther’s family all joined in the setting up of Christmas Tree Alley, stringing lights, hanging bows and ornaments in preparation of the big weekend. The family has curated a lineup of delightful activities and attractions that are sure to bring joy to young and old alike. From strolling through Christmas Tree Alley adorned with twinkling lights to enjoying festive music, hot chocolate with marshmallows and flavoured coffee. There will be something for everyone to get you into the holiday spirit.
So bundle up in your coziest scarves and mittens because it’s time to step back into time and enjoy the winter wonderland that awaits you at their farm.
With your ticket, you’ll gain admission to the enchanting North Pole festivities, where Santa himself awaits to greet you and capture that perfect holiday photo in the barn loft. John has put all the finishing touches including a mantle and fireplace.
For the little ones in your family, there are plenty of Christmas craft activities to keep them entertained. They can unleash their creativity while making special keepsakes that will remind them of this wonderful evening spent together as a family.
Margaret has been busy for the past month and has the table set for the children to make their own ornaments sparked by the spirit of the season.
But it doesn’t end there – this year the Guenthers have added horse-drawn sleigh rides. For an additional $10 per person, families can hop aboard a cozy sleigh pulled by Clydesdale horses that will take you around their five acre property.
With its picturesque location in the heart of the county, Willow Grove Orchard provides the perfect backdrop for creating cherished memories with your loved ones.
There will be a bon fire going for those who just want to spend a little extra time outdoors in the fresh air.
It’ll feel like stepping into a whimsical fairytale – perfect for capturing those picture-perfect moments together.
Don’t miss out on an opportunity for a truly magical experience this Christmas season. Join John and Margaret at Willow Grove Orchard and get into the Christmas spirit.
