Team McDonald captures Golden Wrench

Team McDonald, featuring Winnipeg Beach curler Elias Huminicki, captured the Ed Werenich Golden Wrench Classic title with an 8–3 victory over Team Kleiter in the final. The event was held Jan. 15–18 in Arizona and hosted by the Coyotes Curling Club, with Team McDonald securing the championship and the event’s signature Golden Wrench trophy. The team will now turn its attention to the Manitoba Men’s Provincials, scheduled for Feb. 4–8 in Selkirk.
