Moosehorn Community Club hosts lively fundraising concert

Date:

The Moosehorn Community Club welcomed residents and visitors to the Moosehorn Centennial Hall on March 14 for an evening of classic music and community spirit during a successful fundraising event.

Approximately 70 guests attended the fundraiser, which featured entertainment by Adam T. Elvis and his four-piece band. The group kept the audience engaged with three energetic sets celebrating iconic performers.

The show included tributes to Johnny Cash and Johnny Horton, along with 1950s Elvis Presley hits and a Las Vegas–style Elvis performance, prompting plenty of toe tapping and sing-alongs from the crowd.

The evening began at 7 p.m., with tickets priced at $25 and including refreshments and snacks. Guests also enjoyed a cash bar and a 50/50 raffle during the night.

Organizer Dianne Bittner said the community club was pleased with the strong turnout.

“We were very happy and thankful for the turnout,” Bittner said.

The Moosehorn Community Club extended its thanks to Access Credit Union for its generous monetary donation, as well as to the Moosehorn branch of Access Credit Union for providing three door prize donations.

Organizers also expressed appreciation to the many volunteers who helped plan, organize, set up and run the event.

“The event would not have happened without the dedication of our volunteers,” Bittner said. “Each and every person who helped out played an important role in making the evening a success.”

Bittner added that events like the fundraiser play an important role in keeping the community hall active.

“These events are very important to keep the hall active and the community engaged,” she said.

Funds raised from the event will help offset some of the costs incurred during the community club’s annual fall supper. Organizers say the final amount raised is still being calculated as ticket sales are finalized and remaining supplies are returned.

The club also thanked the individuals who purchased tickets and attended the event, noting that their continued support helps keep the Moosehorn Centennial Hall active as a gathering place for residents.

As a gesture of appreciation, attendees were served complimentary coffee, tea and baked goods from the kitchen during the evening.

The next Moosehorn Community Club event planned for the hall will be the community’s annual fall dinner later this year.
